However, accommodations that reflect the local culture are hard to find. Remote experiences are difficult to navigate. Big-chain brands are expensive and less rewarding.
Meanwhile, hosts and guests alike are being gauged by large platforms like Airbnb, VBRO, and Booking.com
At Twimo, we want to solve these problems.

Twimo is a booking platform that provides unique accommodations such as home swaps, vacation rental rewards, and direct website bookings. Our marketplace provides options for guests looking to travel smarter.
We also provide hosts with vacation rental management tools to operate an independent business and have a little fun along the way.
We recently launched the first-ever agnostic travel point. With Twimo you can earn points whether you book through our site, or through an affiliate partner on a recommended property. Points can be used towards future stays to reduce travel costs.
How We Got Here
Twimo grew out of Second Home Care Inc, where we have managed thousands of homes throughout Lake Tahoe and Hawaii. In recent years our new clients have experienced sharp increases in mortgage rates and home values. Globally, vacation home owners are experiencing increasingly strict short term rental regulations.
With their larger investments, clients are looking for greater utilization or return on their investments. With greater restrictions on standard short term rentals, they are seeking flexibility on how they achieve their targets.
We launched Twimo to provide the flexibility every second homeowner requires to increase the ROI of their vacation home.
Second Home Care Inc. is a 30-year-old company based in Lake Tahoe. From our offices at 17400 Northwoods Blvd in Truckee, CA, in tandem with our global team, we manage services for all types of second homeowners – AirBnB rentals, fractional home partnerships, and non-rented family getaways. As their trusted partner, we’ve developed a deep understanding of vacation homeowner requirements as well as service provider and local market needs. Our finger is on the pulse.
Jonathan Luster, our founder, has over twenty years of experience in home services and hospitality, leveraging built and bought technology from the start. He built Twimo to provide options for homeowners navigating the various town-level policies impacting second-home property rights.

He has been with Second Home Care since 2018, resetting processes, technology, and team structure, exponentially increasing productivity and flow-through. Before Second Home Care, Jonathan was with Lowe’s Home Improvement for 14 years, serving as vice president of new markets and concept development, where his team designed, built, and operated various online and offline businesses.
